Adria Cannon, LMFT , IBCLC *

Adria is a Marriage and Family Therapist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in the Madison (WI) Area. She supports parents as their children grow. Her expertise is with families (mothers, fathers, couples, grandparents) during the first year of parenting. She focuses on how people change as they become parents — and how they continue to take on new roles as their children grow up, launch, and become parents themselves.

She was a doula from 1991-1996, a La Leche League Leader (peer breastfeeding support) from 1995-2013, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2006, and weekly parent peer support group facilitator since 2010.

Ann Jamison, LMFT**

Ann's approach to clients is compassion and strengths based. She tailors therapy to each individual client, focusing on your specific needs, strengths, beliefs, and goals. Topics that she often works with include difficult birth experiences/traumatic birth, loss, partner relationships, anxiety, depression, scary/intrusive thoughts, unplanned cesarean birth, and pregnancy termination.

Ann is trained in PSI's components of care as well as Brainspotting, a neurobiology-based treatment model combining traditional therapy and somatic methods to access and heal trauma.

Anna is a licensed psychologist providing online therapy in the Madison area. Her work centers on women’s wellness, and she is passionate about providing warm, compassionate support to women experiencing perinatal stress, anxiety, depression, and body image concerns. Many of her clients also seek therapy to process their own childhoods as they anticipate or begin parenting.

Ashlyn Brigham, MSW, LCSW

Ashlyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works as a Mental Health Therapist in the UW Health Department of Psychiatry. She is also Adjunct Clinical Faculty in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.  Though she does not work as a doula, Ashlyn has completed both birth and postpartum doula trainings.  

Ashlyn provides therapy to moms and families during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting.  She has a passion for serving moms and families at this stage of life and approaches work with her clients from a compassionate and strengths based framework.  Along with pregnancy and postpartum mental health, Ashlyn works with clients on transitions and relationship changes related to new parenthood, infertility, adoption, and pregnancy loss.  She also counsels diverse family systems, including LGBTQ. Babies are welcome in session.

Emily Hagenmaier, LCSW **

Emily brings warmth, humor, and compassion to supporting families during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. Through her practice, Gingko Tree Counseling, LLC , Emily sees clients in their home, hospital-setting, or in her west Madison office. Emily also offers Child-Parent Psychotherapy, an evidenced-based, relational model for healing birth and early childhood trauma. Emily has a particular clinical specialization supporting families who have experienced NICU hospitalization and can come to the NICU setting to provide support.

Julie C. Kull is a licensed psychotherapist in Madison, WI with more than 10 years experience providing psychotherapy. She is passionate about working with women dealing with infertility, pre/post natal anxiety and pregnancy loss. Julie's approach is collaborative. She uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy while also focusing on the mind/body connection. Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Kind Therapy, LLC on the westside of Madison. Sara specializes in child and family counseling, parenting support, and works with new parents and expecting couples to prepare their relationship for the transition to parenthood. 

Sara’s approach to counseling is genuine, strength-based, and focused on supporting the entire family system, even when only one family member is involved in the therapy process. Therapy sessions with children are interactive and individualized to the needs of each unique child and family system.

Sara also specializes in providing support to children and families who have experienced traumatic events. She has earned her national certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), an evidence-based approach for children who have experienced trauma.

She has a background in early childhood, has worked as a postpartum doula and has her own teenage daughter at home.  She is passionate about supporting parents at any point in their journey, whether they have a newborn, toddler or teen.  Babies in arms are always welcome in therapy sessions.  

Stacy Sullivan, MA, LPC

Stacy is a professional counselor and art therapist in private practice at Peace of Mind Therapy. Stacy is passionate about providing art therapy services to the Madison community, including supporting local women navigating the unique journey of Motherhood.


Stacy has a variety of experience in the mental health field. She is currently working with clients experiencing depression/anxiety, perinatal depression and women's issues, PTSD/trauma, loss, legal stressors, and other adjustment disorders.

Tanya has 10 years of clinical experience working primarily with children and families. At the core of her work is her belief that in order to raise strong, resilient families, strengthening and supporting the family foundation is crucial. Tanya offers a range of services from individual to family therapy surrounding issues that may arise around pregnancy, birth and during the postpartum period into early childhood. This is an important time in a families life that is so rewarding but often times very challenging. She also specializes in supporting families with young children who have special needs.
