Yvonne, owner of Nurturing Ways, is an endorsed Infant/Toddler Mental Health Specialist* (IMH-E®) and Certified Educator of Infant Massage.   She offers home-based consultation around parenting challenges—particularly those that impact the parent-child relationship—during the first three as well as in-home individual and group infant massage instruction.

 

Yvonne believes strongly in the power of the early relationships infants and young children share with the important adults in their lives.  Supporting parents is one of the best ways to support children! Her goal is to partner with mothers, fathers, and/or other primary care providers to find ways to promote healthy relationships and to create a positive foundation on which to develop life skills and build resilience in themselves and their children.  She works with parents/caregivers to discover and reduce sources of stress and deepen the connection they have with their little ones so that they feel confident and effective as they begin their journey with their little ones.
