Ashley Hartman Annis (she / they) is a full spectrum doula (birth, postpartum, miscarriage, abortion, fertility / infertility), a somatic practitioner, and a zine maker in Madison, WI. Using her training in Somatic Experiencing, TRE, and various fertility / reproductive health trainings, Ashley supports people who are going through transitional times (birth, death, illness, aging, etc.) to find connection to their body and it's inherent wisdom. Ashley also loves teaching people about how bodies work (the nervous system stress cycle, the hormones of the menstrual cycle, childbirth education, etc.) through her sessions and also the zines she makes. The Madison Area Pregnancy & Postpartum Collective is a group of independent providers who offer a variety of professional services to families in the greater-Madison, WI area, with a common goal of increasing visibility of perinatal service options, as well as sharing knowledge across postpartum care providers in order to better serve families in our community. Our members provide support for families welcoming an infant or young child into their home, during pregnancy, and through the extended postpartum period.
