Ashlyn Brigham, MSW, LCSW

Ashlyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works as a Mental Health Therapist in the UW Health Department of Psychiatry. She is also Adjunct Clinical Faculty in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.  Though she does not work as a doula, Ashlyn has completed both birth and postpartum doula trainings.  

Ashlyn provides therapy to moms and families during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting.  She has a passion for serving moms and families at this stage of life and approaches work with her clients from a compassionate and strengths based framework.

 

Along with pregnancy and postpartum mental health, Ashlyn works with clients on transitions and relationship changes related to new parenthood, infertility, adoption, and pregnancy loss.  She also counsels diverse family systems, including LGBTQ and families of color. Babies are welcome in session.

The Madison Area Pregnancy & Postpartum Collective is a group of independent providers who offer a variety of professional services to families in the greater-Madison, WI area, with a common goal of increasing visibility of perinatal service options, as well as sharing knowledge across postpartum care providers in order to better serve families in our community. Our members provide support for families welcoming an infant or young child into their home, during pregnancy, and through the extended postpartum period.
