Claudia Schmidt, Licensed Professional Counselor

 

Claudia is a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in Perinatal Mental Health and has worked in the mental health field since 2012. She is the clinical director and provides psychotherapy services at Greyley Wellness, a holistic mental health practice located on the east side of Madison. Claudia is trained in Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, and Motivational Interviewing. She utilizes multiple treatment applications from these methodologies in her practice, and emphasizes a strengths-based and client-led viewpoint. Her professional path, combined with the journey of becoming a mother herself, has provided a foundation of rich experience, perspective, and heartfelt desire to walk alongside women going through the many complicated transitions of life. 

 

Claudia offers both telehealth and in-person sessions Monday-Thursday 9am - 2pm; alternative times may be available by request. Her office is located at Greyley Wellness - 2010 Eastwood Drive, Suite 300, Madison, WI 53704.

The Madison Area Pregnancy & Postpartum Collective is a group of independent providers who offer a variety of professional services to families in the greater-Madison, WI area, with a common goal of increasing visibility of perinatal service options, as well as sharing knowledge across postpartum care providers in order to better serve families in our community. Our members provide support for families welcoming an infant or young child into their home, during pregnancy, and through the extended postpartum period.
