Kin Kitchen is a personal chef business with a focus on pregnancy & postpartum nourishment owned and operated by Chef Katie Ankowicz. Kin Kitchen focuses on ancestral cooking methods to provide deep nourishment, from scratch cooking, warm and nourishing foods, grass-fed + organic meats and animal products, replenishing teas + broths, and sprouted/soaked whole grains. This personal chef service takes the stress of cooking off of new parents, and focuses on healing foods specific for pregnancy & postpartum. Chef Katie curates menus to fit the needs and dietary preferences of families, does the grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning and packaging for easy nutritious meals. Kin Kitchen's service options include: a Freezer Fill, a 2, 4 or 6 week Service for Postpartum, 1 Month (+) Service for Pregnancy, and a general Personal Chef Service that is available to those beyond the birthing world. Katie has been in the culinary world professionally for over 6 years, is an herbalist and nature lover. With a BS in Environmental Science, herbalism training through Herb Pharm & Wildwood Institute of Herbalism, and completion of the Full Spectrum Doula Training through BADT (Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings), Katie has a well-rounded holistic approach to food, cooking, healing and care. In her free time, she enjoys long walks with her partner, cuddling with her cat, Pinto, and throwing dinner parties with friends.

The Madison Area Pregnancy & Postpartum Collective is a group of independent providers who offer a variety of professional services to families in the greater-Madison, WI area, with a common goal of increasing visibility of perinatal service options, as well as sharing knowledge across postpartum care providers in order to better serve families in our community. Our members provide support for families welcoming an infant or young child into their home, during pregnancy, and through the extended postpartum period.
