Jennifer Reckner, MA, NCC, LPC, PMH-C, is a compassionate, relational therapist with almost 20 years in the healthcare field. Jennifer is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, providing care that centers on the unique challenges caregivers face, pregnant individuals, those trying to conceive, and postpartum parents. She brings a mind-body approach to healing, helping each client navigate their personal journey with compassion and resilience. Jennifer has advanced training in NICU parenting and birth trauma, and utilizes EMDR, Brainspotting, and Comprehensive Resource Model for trauma processing. Additionally, she is committed to creating an inclusive, affirming, supportive environment for her clients and uses an anti-oppressive systems based approach; tailored to each individual and their identity. 

Prior to being a therapist, Jennifer was a nurse and practiced at various levels of care. She also has a young daughter that she enjoys going on adventures with around Madison.

Both telehealth and in person appointments are available. Jennifer is in network with Quartz, Dean, some BCBS plans, Aetna, some UHC plans, and some Medicaid plans. The Madison Area Pregnancy & Postpartum Collective is a group of independent providers who offer a variety of professional services to families in the greater-Madison, WI area, with a common goal of increasing visibility of perinatal service options, as well as sharing knowledge across postpartum care providers in order to better serve families in our community. Our members provide support for families welcoming an infant or young child into their home, during pregnancy, and through the extended postpartum period.
