Robin Kinney
Advanced Practice Social Worker

Robin is a strengths-based Advanced Practice Social Worker with a passion for working with people who are struggling with mental health symptoms, challenging life situations, or are going through major life transitions.

Robin is the mother of two kids and is particularly interested in the transition to parenthood: through pregnancy, birth, life with a newborn, and the struggles associated with parenting young children, sibling rivalry and co-parenting. Robin understands that the process of becoming a parent brings up a myriad of emotions, memories from past experiences, and can cause conflict with your partner. Robin believes that you are a good person having a hard time, and that you are brave and resilient.

Robin is a trauma informed therapist with training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. Robin meets her clients where they’re at, joining them on their journey to becoming the sturdy, grounded, confident parents they want to be in the world.
